    SWK Heavyweight Wool

For Christmas this year my fiancé got me a heavyweight wool Black Stewart kilt and an economy Black Watch wool kilt. Both are machine made, in Pakistan to boot.

The Black Stewart is a far better kilt than the economy. The pleats are about twice the depth and the lining is stitched down the whole way, while it's only attached in the back. They're both fine kilts for a new like me however, and quite a bit of an upgrade over my acrylic.

I will say that the sizing is a bit wonky. I had myself measured and was told I had a 47" waist. The size 46 that I got fits slightly loose at the first hole in both buckles. I have a feeling I'll be needing a smaller one once it warms up.

    Here it is on Christmas

If it's a touch loose on the tightest holes, you can always move the straps a bit, it's easy to do and saves buying a new kilt.
