    Scottish Wildcat tartan kilt

Thought I'd post my standard kilt photo for the new Scottish Wildcat tartan! This kilt is going to the tartan designer, McMurdo. I love the tartan and the pleating he chose - it almost purrs, it's so cat-like!

If you want to see more pics of the kilt, you can go to the thread at http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/s...01#post1281201 plus a discussion of the colors at http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/f...71/index4.html

That looks smashing! I cannot think of a more fitting person to receive the first kilt in this tartan. Is Alan to be the second I wonder?

Dunno! I presume he will be making his own! Alan - are you going to be able to do yours right away, too?

The first thing on my sewing table will be the skirt for the model who will be sporting the tartan in the Press Release. I will also probably make her a driving cap.... Horrors, Jock, I know, but I expect that she won't be wearing them at the same time!

After that I need to make a waistcoat for Paul at Wildcat Haven and then, finally I get to make my own kilt. That will likely be sometime this summer.

As I've said before, this is such a great looking tartan design. And who better to craft it into a kilt than Barbara! Kudos to both you and McMurdo for this beautiful collaboration.
