Our local british brass band is the Spokane British Brass Band. They have been a local fixture since 1995 and play quarterly concerts and make appearances in the area. As a former brass player (baritone, euphonium, tuba), I enjoy their concerts and, truly, what's better than all brass? I concentrate on the pipes now, but brass bands will give 'em a run. See the Spokane British Brass Band at their website: http://www.sbbb.org/

Yes there's no sound as glorious as a good Brass ensemble!

Strings and woodwinds sound muddy by comparison to the heroic clear tones of brass.

This coming from a woodwind guy!
