Thank you so much my friends and brothers from all over the world.
With some brothers we have created in France the masonic kilt society. Its members must wear a kilt (in proper and due form) during at least a tyled meeting per year
We are currently 12 members with the open intention of growing.
Best regards
Laurent

Hi, ljaunax, and welcome to X Marks from the bottom end of Africa.
It seems that quite a few Frenchmen are catching on to the kilting idea. There are now several French family tartans registered, and a number connected with Freemasonry too.
Besides those, there is an intense kilting enthusiasm in Brittany.
I am not a Mason, but my maternal grandfather was a past master.
I have not travelled in Europe, but my son has visited Pau (nearer to the Atlantic than the Mediterranean, but still in the south-west).
Several of my ancestors came to the Cape about 300 years ago from various parts of France – Provence, Bordeaux, La Rochelle, the Île-de-France and the Pas de Calais, among other areas.
Regards,
Mike
