    A New Kilt from Keltoi

I just received a new creation from John Hart: an 8yd, 16oz Lochcarron Strome in MacEwen Ancient, knife pleated to the sett. Also got matching tartan hose at the same time.

The tartan represents a strong connection to my wife's family who's MacEwen ancestors sailed to Prince Edward Island from Greenoch, Scotland in April 1770.

Thank you John, the kilt fits perfectly and is absolutely gorgeous. I am very, very pleased.

The following photo is a placemark until I can get a bit more dressed up in the new kilt:

John, I think your smile says as much as your words about your pleasure. Good for you.

You're a lucky man, John. I look forward to seeing that beauty at one of our Tartan Tuesdays.

What a super looking kilt, John! I am presently PEI visiting family. My family also came to PEI in the 1770s. May I am where your wife's people settled in PEI?

The family eventually settled in the Morell, St. Peter's Harbour area of the island. There is still a family farm there (growing potatoes - big surprise). Hope you are having a great vacation!

Ah.. opposite corners of this vast province. The weather here is grand, however, and today I am busily rebuilding my mother's back step.

John, I am very glad to see you have received your new kilt. That means that my kilt is one kilt closer to being made. I have been told that it is scheduled for late in September.
I hope that late September is well before the snow season up that way. My last kilt from John was 3 weeks late in getting to me because of the very severe winter they were having at the time.

Glad to hear that I'm getting out of your way!

I think that you are probably safe in not worrying about a snow delay. Kitchener is only one degree (F) cooler than San Francisco, on average, in September. I'll be looking forward to your pictures.

    Cheers.
