    Our value kilts have leather straps and buckle bearers which are fused onto the kilt by machine. This makes it very difficult to alter without damaging the kilt so we say that we cannot do this.
    However, our traditional kilts have cloth buckle bearers which are much easier to alter without leaving any damage. Although the straps are still leather, they are not fused on, simply stitched, so these are easier to alter also.

    I understand how the description on our website can be confusing and therefore we should look to change it.

    Thanks again, that was why I asked. I maybe easily confused, but I don't think I would not be the only one.
    If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!
