Hello Everyone,
I was very happy to find this forum recently and have been enjoying reading posts from very knowledgeable and passionate kilt lovers. I had my first experience with kilts at a Renaissance Fair in the states (where I was born) and once I put one on, I was hooked and purchased several. I love how they are great conversation starters.
Now that I have gotten into genealogy I have been keen to trace my lineage in the Gordon clan and DNA has provided part of that picture. The more I learn, the more I seek to know. But one fact is DEFINITE: I love wearing a kilt! I am just about to order my first 8 yard kilt and hope to learn from everyone here.
Thanks for having this great site. Who knows, I might even attempt to make my own kilt and finally take the great sewing machine I bought before I moved here out of its box! Cheers.
