    1st Sgt Farr Update

Hey guys. I got an email from Dwayne Farr tonight right before I logged off to get ready for the hurricane. It was too great not to post right away! Check it out in the news section or go here:

No matter my feelings on the war Iraq, I have the utmost respect for the common men and women serving there doing the best they can to uphold what they belive to be right. They are, in my opinion, uncommon heros in an age that has forgotten what honor is all about. I'm proud just to know about someone like Sgt. Farr and prouder still to see the way people here at home responded to him. That is America, not all the fat-cat politicians and rhetoric blowing around in D.C.

    sorry, off the soapbox now

    Very Nice for sure.
It is nice to see he is wearing around Marines
I hope that he wears the Marine Tartan ones he was sent as well and ups the awarness of the Tartan to Marines.
Seeing your 1st Sgt wear a kilt has got to make it allot easier to wear one and not worry about getting ribbed by the boys.

    He looks great.

I'm glad we hear from him from time to time to know he is allright.I have been wondering how many converts he has made?I know we are all looking forward to his safe return.Highland tide take care in the storm and batten down the hatches.Fill us in as soon as the storm passes so we know you are all right. And that goes for the rest of you who may be in for a rough ride with this.

    Take care
    David
