My son likes Irn Bru. He's 22, so not a child.

I liked Irn Bru, but not at first...

When I lived in Scotland, in the early '80's, I kept hearing about the drink. So I tried it...tasted like liquid pink bubble gum. I left it alone for a while. Then I started to drink it, and just like any other drink with caffiene, taste no longer matters....only the caffiene high. When I returned to the states, I promptly left it behind. I just never saw the stuff (except once in a British shop, in Phx...paid to much for it). That's my Irn Bru experience.

I've tried it and like it; although, it tastes something like an Orange Crush on the verge of going bad.

I like Irn Bru. It is my usual when not cider or beer in Scotland. I also like marmite. And black pudding. And haggis.

You are a man after my own heart sir. I would also include when in Scotland , white pudding, scotch pies, square sausage followed by a few pints of Guiness and a good single malt whiskey. "Braw"

I haven't had white pudding yet. I loved all the food I encountered in Scotland but Turnips. Still can't get them down without gagging.

Tastes of bubble gum with a quinine chaser. I wonder, would malaria be preferable? A vendor in our Washington state games sells it by the multi-case numbers during the summer. It seems to go mostly to the youth. My son is quite fond of it. A young lady, local Highland dancer and tenor drummer, was quite crushed when the Irn Bru was sold out at this summer's Spokane Games and she got none. I cannot, for the life of me, decide why it's so popular. My son feels the same way about my love of Islay malts, though.

I'll take a bow as well. I have tried Irn Bru and liked it my children, however, did not like it. They said it was too sweet and they don't like fizzy drinks anyway.
