Made In House or Outsourced? Lochcarron only, or other Mills too?

    Greetings,

The title says it all; I need answers to 2 questions:

    1) Do you use in-house kitmakers, or are the jobs outsourced? If they are outsourced, do the end customers know who the kiltmaker is, or is this information not available?

    2) Do you make kilts in heavyweight tartan that comes from mills other than Lochcarron? Most of the tartans I want are from Lochcarron, but there are also a good number from House of Edgar and Marton Mills.

    Thank You,

    Mathew

I think many of our kilt makers here (Rocky's crew, Steve at freedom, Barb, Bonnie...) will use material from many reputable mills. Contact one of your choosing and move on to kilted joy knowing you have a quality kilt in the best of materials

It is on the Burnetts and Struth section so I presume he is asking them specifically.

And a quick look about their site shows several mills as the source of tartan material
