    beyond the call of duty

We often read here of the outstanding customer service available. I recently called Freedom Kilts to ask about Lewis hose
in my size in three different colors. Yes, and yes. Normal so far. When I stopped working, I got rid of banks and their cards,
so, do I need Canadian cash, is US cash acceptable, do we know of any wire or money order that accepts US and pays
Canadian? How much time in transit? Here by Christmas? OK, since the bearer of that info is out of the shop, just let me know by e-mail. Next day, Saturday, e-mail says Canadian preferred, I reply it may take a day or three to find how to do that. By Thursday still no success, but I arrive home to find them delivered already. At my door. No money sent yet.

In this business climate, I find this remarkable. So I'm remarking. While I hadn't wished to bother anyone, even the
folk who are giving me the hose for Christmas, I immediately made arrangements to borrow a card from one of them.

    Yay, Steve, Yay Bobbie.

In the future I recommend Paypal for your international payments. They will accept payment USD and then sent the equivalent in the proper currency to the recipient.

Sounds like a wonderful transaction, it's really amazing to find such dedication and service from vendors these days.
