    Generations

I am happy to share this photo with you. This is the outfit I wore today. I am wearing the sgian dubh that Vanessa's grandfather carved with his hand knit hose, Lovat Green argyll and his MoD sporran. The rest of the kit is mine but I do feel honoured to be the custodian of these pieces. I have wanted a green Argyll for some time as they seem so versitile but for some reason it was something I have never been able to add to my collection so I was very happy when this was given to me.

Here is a close up the really intersting sporran, not sure it's my style but will wear it when the opportunity warrants it.

With the tassels out of the way

Glen.... The lovat green argyle goes well with your Wildcat tartan kilt.

I glad that you got all Vanessa's grandfather things together for this photo. That combo works. Good way to honor the man.

Love the outfit, but I shouldn't try to read first thing in the morning. Kept trying to figure out how one carves a sgian dubh with hand knit hose.

Looks great! That sporran is wonderful and I really really like the way the Wildcat Tartan looks. Very sharp!
