A problem with the Store section of the FK website

Over the past 60 days a technical glitch in our website has gotten progressively worse. We would like to offer our apologies to those of our customers who have had this problem effect their orders.

Instead of trying to fix this problem 'on the fly', we feel it is best that we temporarily shut down the entire on-line store component of our website until the bug can be found and fixed.

Our brick and mortar location is still open and we are still working.
This effects only the "Store" component of our website.

If you have any questions about an order that may have been effected by this bug or if you have any concerns or comments, please remember that we are simply an email or phone call away.

In the meantime, call the shop and order personally I assume? I'm eyeing some Steve-knitted hose if my check allows some discretionary spending

I'm sorry Grainreaper but I'm not going to accept any new custom work until I get this figured out.

    Site back up?

I had someone ask about where I get my kilts. I keep a Freedom Kilts business card in my wallet for such occasions. After I passed it along, I thought, "Gee, I ought to check if FK's store site is back up".

It appears to be up. Steve, can you confirm the bug has been managed?

My web guy assures me that he has it all fixed. Of course since we turned the site on again we have not had someone order something from every section.

    Steve,

Had you noticed that the Custom Kilt section is no longer present?
I've also noticed that there are many items in the store that are out of stock, and have been so for a while. Is the inventory not being updated, or is there simply no demand for the various off-the-rack kilts, belts, hose, and garters that I've been looking for for the last while?

    Regards,

    Mathew

I have asked my web guy to put those two sections back up. They were taken down by mistake as I wanted to make a change to them to make it easier for people to pick the fabric for their kilt.

And we zeroed out all the inventory. As I do my annual count I will be updating the stock lists.

Thank you all for your patience. This has been a very frustrating few months.
