    First go at "Smart Daywear"

    Greetings,

I've been cobbling away at "smart daywear" outfit for about 2 years thanks to the inspiration of fellow X-Markers. I finally put it all together for a piping engagement I had over the weekend. It may still have some "matchy-matchy" elements, but I was pleased with the overall outcome. (Jacket - Heritage of Scotland/Mocha Reeve, Kilt - Ulster Crest)

Your ensemble seems as though you've worn the arrangement all your life. That would be the success in your choice and I see you've nailed it.

I agree with the others...well done. Some might suggest that black shoes are traditional, but I always match my leathers.

The whole outfit is very smart indeed ! That's a cracking good jacket and vest ! Love the brown tweed ... a classic daywear color in my humble opinion .

Looks great and don't worry about matching. You look pulled together.
