    Happy today . . .

... and by the way, it's "St. Paddy's Day" NOT "St. Patty's" The Saint's name was Pádraig.

    Celebrate safely, dear Rabble!

I believe his actual name is unknown, Patrick being a derivation of patricius, meaning a patrician or Roman nobleman.
With in his case it was either because he was from Romano-British family, and or because of his position as leader of the early church in Ireland.

I will be building a brick walkway (with steps) and installing a toilet plus a bit of new drain line tomorrow. The largest amount of green I'll encounter, is my envy of all you that will be kilted and doing any job other than the ones I have lined up. Toast high a pint for me if you will.

    Imbibe safely.

Pádraig Is actually on my hospital birth certificate, on some early documents from Doctor visits, then magically turns into Patrick thereafter... I learned this when I was getting married 16 years ago

Indeed well shot (echoing friend freep). I'll not be laying brick or be in the "crapper" that day.
