    The majority of DNA and recent research does support a migration from the south to the North thru the isle's. How far back this is traceable I've no idea.


    My interest is the 'new' thesis that the Scots are not a result of Irish invasion but a specific Celt speaking group unto themselves....part of that south to north movement from the coast thru the isle's.

    Oddly enough DNA results have come back, Greek/Mediterranean is there, as well as Spanish, Welsh, French, Russian..... Really a sieved together mix of all of Europe.
