Before buying a kilt I went to a few Celtic themed events & looked carefully at the kilts people were wearing & at the kilts the vendors were selling . I decided that the USA Kilts I saw were what I was looking for - traditional style with quality . I now have 2 off the rack casuals & a tailored semi traditional kilt from them . Everything from USA Kilts looks great , get plenty of compliments & are worth every penny .

I have heard nothing but good things about USA Kilt, and that's why I ordered my first custom-made kilt from them yesterday. Can't wait for it to arrive!

If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!

I have 4 USA Kilts and am very happy with the look, fit and feel. I have received many kilt compliments while wearing them. Rocky is top-notch in every way. I have visited his store many times, including his small, quaint original store. I have also visited his Celtic Classic (Betlehem, PA) stand many times. Even if you have other kilts in your closet, you will want a USA Kilt as well.

I'm sure we're giving Rocky and his crew swelled heads, but USAKilts is the only place I recommend to people getting their first kilt and who aren't sure how to get high quality at a proper price. Personally, I recommend a Semi-Trad (what I have from them) but everything they offer will meet your needs.
All the vendors here offer quality, but Rocky seems to be the easiest for the first timer to deal with and still be sure getting a great result. Once you are comfortable that you know exactly what you want in a custom kilt you might try out the other vendors here, or just go to Kilt Kamp and make your own!

Thank you Rocky!
I put in the order online and received a message an hour later that it shipped! Thankfully, I received a full endorsement from my daughters last night, the 16 yr old wondering when I'm going to get her a full tartan Earasaid and the 13 yr old none-too-kindly letting me know she won't be seen in public with me when I'm wearing a kilt

Kids! Sounds like a nicely balanced family.
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!

After perusing the DIY forums, that seems like a hoot! Thanks for the advice.
