Hollywood is lucky if it can work in 1% accuracy. The money is in telling a great entertaining story at all costs - including pesky accuracy. That's why documentaries are generally non profit undertakings and they even have accuracy problems.

Pants is only a present tense verb here. I once panted, but it's all cool now.

GREEN (as in money) is the color of choice when it comes to the eye of the beholder. If P.T. Barnum didn't say this, he should have.

When you have knowledge of a certain subject, it's hard to watch a movie that deals with it. It's like that for me and aviation movies. As a Coast Guard helicopter crewman, I can't stand the rescue scene in Top Gun. NOT how it's done, it's downright embarrassing how the survivor just dangles like that for Hollywood dramatic effect. Good Lord. It's a fun movie, though, and visually exciting for the audience.

Then there was The Guardian...entertaining, but full of politically correct stuff and other inaccuracies. I had to suffer through that movie because I was in a recruiting position at the time, and people who came into the office always asked about it. Like previously mentioned, though, movies spark lots of interest and people like to travel or do whatever is going on in the movies...and why not? After all, movies should entertain, but sometimes come across as docudrama.
