Those are lovely, really nice. I think I may have to check them out for my new Scottish Wildcat kilt.

I really like the pins and backs system they use, rather than the more common pin and clasp system. Seems it would hold a lot better and be easier to line up in the tartan's sett. Is that the case? Sharp looking pins, by the way.

There are some really fine kilt pins there! I love the detail!

Scottish Claymore with red crystal (you can choose your colored stone which is nice)
Very nice! Is it pewter?

I don't think so. They are described on his website as "cast metal" and he mentioned something to me about the reason they are so detailed is that they are "die cast" instead of "sand cast" (I honestly don't know what either of those terms mean). You can always shoot Jerry an email at Stillwater Kilts, he is pretty good about getting back to you with answers about his products.
Cheers

I purchased the Rampant Lion from your review and used it for the first time today.
The locking pin clasps are great!
The kilt pin size is 2 by 2.9 inches or 30 by 73mm and weighs 1.23 ounces or 34.8 gm.
This is by far the heaviest kilt pin I own. Should be good for about 60 MPH winds a real boat anchor.
Most of my kilt pins weight 20 to 25 gms.
Great addition to the collection and handy for the dog walks on windy days. They almost always involve a good wind from my right side at some point , where the outer apron seriously wants to wrap around my sporran.

Pants is only a present tense verb here. I once panted, but it's all cool now.
