A formal kilted promotional photo

I am part of a Scottish Dancing Group (the Red Thistle Dancers) and had the pleasure of being asked to help out with a promotional photo shoot.

I thought it would be fun to share this highland dancer image from the set, and that my choice of tartan would be appreciated ;)

And yes, our piper Stephen is also a very accomplished highland and country dancer (hence HIS ghillies )

Great photo and it looks like you truly enjoyed yourselves. I miss dancing but any time I try it now my left foot gives me trouble for far too long afterward as I've developed plantar fasciitis. I hope to get back to it at some point but the last time I tried I was in pain for about 3 months afterward.
