New kilt for daughter's wedding next week

A special thanks to Rocky, Lucas ... Mac? ... I think it was Mac who built my kilt. I've been collecting the bits and pieces over the past many months. The Scotland Forever 16oz box pleat arrived this weekend. Was able to put it on Sunday just before I lost my photographer spouse to the sandman, so for haste sake, I had to forego putting on the traditional self tie flashes and sgian dubh. Got the Reiver hose in heather from House of Cheviot ... they were much darker than shown on the web site and I didn't think they'd work at all, but they appear to do quite well. In my haste, I didn't get the sporran strap adjusted properly, so it dropped a bit low, but otherwise, it seems to have come together quite well.

    -Cheers

    Looks great!
Scotland Forever is my wife's favorite tartan - eventually I'll be able to match her! Nice to see it in kilt form.
