I'll second that Rex. Can highly recommend Steve's Docent tour of the museum.
Regional Director for Scotland for Clan Cunningham International, and a Scottish Armiger.

but watch for the myths, misunderstandings and confused fact woven into tales of adventure, entrepreneurship and great leadership.
Excuse me - Is this some implication that somehow, my museum, may have made a mistake?
Well I would like to put the record straight and end the nasty rumours - The Woolly Mammoth on display was not shot. Of course we did not go out and shoot him. That would be cruel.
He was roadkill.
I can confirm however that during one expedition, two of the curators were attacked, and were forced to shoot this nasty tempered and vicious beast to save themselves.
Many people do not realize that British Columbia is still, today, a wild and dangerous place. You do not approach animals like this in the wild unprepared. The expedition that was attacked had been in the field for hours. They were blocks from the nearest Starbucks. Anything could have happened. So they took the precautions that are only wise.

As we say - No pics, it didn't happen.
So here is the photographic proof. Bobbie and I had a wonderful visit with Bill and his lovely wife Lisle.

This is a complete lie as Steve is trying to be overly modest here.
This Mammoth was Steve's first kill as a solo hunter when he was a young man in the mid-Pleistocene age. He just doesn't like to brag...
Cheers
