I'm sorry, is this your ebay listing? I notice that you have posted this link twice now and the name is very similar.

I don't know why we can't delete posts. Very frustrating.

See my previous post. What I originally wrote was "well you can". I gave it a moment or three to register, then called up 'edit' at the lower right, and wrote "my post was just stupid, so I deleted it".

Try it in this thread; it works.

No delete function in any browser or OS. When I look at my permissions, I can edit, but nowhere does it say delete and there's no delete button or function. There should be.

Anyone may edit their own posts. If you wish to remove material simply edit it out.

But only the staff may delete posts. Removing an entire post from the middle of an active thread leaves a hole in that thread.

Deleting an entire post is normally reserved only for spam.

(Note; A staff member will not edit another person's post without their permission. They will also not delete a post without good reason and will notify the other staff members if they do so. This is done in the Moderators section of the forum with the Moderator flagging the post which retains a copy of the offending post before it is removed from the open forum. This is done under Rule #1, where the action of hackers and spammers are addressed. No Spam. Not today, tomorrow, not ever.)

Post no. 11 to this thread is covered under our policy on advertising, promotion and product reviews (which may be found in our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)

    Advertising & Promotion
Our members want access to a wide array of kilts and kilt related products and services. To provide this we have accepted paid advertising from select companies who wish to present their products to our membership.

Advertising and/or Promotion are defined as:
"A form of communication used to encourage, persuade, drive or induce an audience to take or continue some action concerning a commercial offering. It can be used to change or reinforce consumer behavior or offer assurances to consumers. Advertising often involves repetition of an image or product name in an effort to associate certain qualities with the image or name.
Advertising does not always involve the direct sale of a good or service. An example would be the case of a public service announcement. If the result is an increase in awareness of a good or service it is advertising and /or promotion."

Any member of the forum who produces a kilt or kilt related product and who wishes to advertise on the forum will be directed to our advertising plan for details of our ad space and rates.

No other advertising or promotion will be allowed except those listed in the advertising plan.

In any forum I'm active on I can delete, so this policy is new to me. Sorry for the confusion.
