They're often available on eBay, for example: http://www.ebay.com/itm/ROYAL-REGIME...YAAOSwNRdX3qDR

What regimental style are you looking for? Depending on the regiment, there are many variations. The basic common sporran is the plain RRS style that is abundant on eBay going from 20.00 to over a 100.00 depending on how greedy the seller is.

Here's one similar to the L&M version, only a lot less expensive. I bought one of these for my nephew and found it to be surprisingly good value for the money.

I second this. This is my go to sporran for knocking about. Better than I had hoped for at a reasonable price.
When in Rome, do as the Romans do. The same goes for Iowa.

I can't see an image either.

As said above there are loads of the modern Royal Regiment Of Scotland sporrans on Ebay now. Some have the badge attached, some have the holes punched for the badge, some do not have the holes punched and would be perfect for civilian wear.

As pointed out above, during the World Wars and for some time afterwards each Highland regiment had a different pattern.
