    September Kilt Night

Fellow X-markers, shall we plan our September Kilt Night(s)? A friend of mine will be celebrating a milestone at the Marietta Taco Mac on September 14th, and we will be kilted for that one. I realize, however, that this is a wee bit too far north for most of the Atlanta rabble, so, when and where shall we meet? Shall we celebrate Mary, Queen of Scots on the 9th? The Battle of Stirling Bridge on the 11th? The Battle of Sheriffmuir on the 12th? Or, what, and when?

I'm most likely not in town on the 1th, but will be on the 12th. The Mayretta Tmac is a bit of a haul, but I may try to swing that.

"swing that" - I see what you did there.

12th is likely for me. Difficult to do anything further South than Buckhead. What do you think of Brick Store Pub in Decatur?

The Brick Store looks good. I think @Ntaker was a fan of the place when he went, as well.

It looks like Irma will be past by Tues, too!

Well, perhaps I spoke too soon. I have been notified today that my kid's school as well as my work are already cancelled Tuesday due to Irma. I think that we may be pushing our luck to plan a kilt night then. Can we push it back to the week after?

Agreed. This isn't a good week for it.

A few folks have expressed an interest in coming to the Marietta Taco Mac tomorrow. A fellow who is not on this forum is celebrating his 1000th credit there in a kilt, so I and hopefully a few others will join him. If you wish to come, the event starts around 5pm, and the address is 2650 Dallas Hwy, Marietta, GA 30064.

I didn't get any pics, but we had a great time. @Catharps and I were the only forumites, but the guest of honor plus 2 kilted lasses all had a great time.
