    What tartan is he wearing? I know he has several kilts in various tartans that he wears, but I must have missed this one in past discussions.

    It's interesting how very little of his garter ties are showing. I've always seen more than just the very tips sticking out.

    It's the byproduct of normal/traditional-length flashes combined with hose with a fairly wide turnover cuff.

    The wider the turnover cuff, the less flash shows.

    Actually this is a peeve of mine, how some modern kiltwearers have got it into their head that the entire flash needs to show, and wear the elastic down at the edge of the hose's cuff.

    Normally of course the elastic part goes at the top, the cuff turned over the point where the elastic is.
