How do I put these on?

Dumb question I know,I bought some of the fancy garter ties like some of you have. If I tie them it looks like there is a golf ball under my sock. What am I doing wrong?Thank you.

Rather than helping you directly, I suggest you try the search feature of the forum. Try searching for garters and you will find that over the years this topic has been discussed. (In fact this is likely true of most Kilt related topics.)

Just wrap one end over the other. You don't need a knot. Let the ends show below the folded cuff.

OK I found it, had to do internet search though. Forum searches always bring up a million things that have nothing to do with what you want to know for some reason. I don't know why I didn't think of YouTube originally.

Quick tip if the forum search doesn't produce usable results:

On google type "searchterm xy site:xmarksthescot.com"

So for example: garter ties site:xmarksthescot.com

I really like the look of garter ties much better than flashes. And they come in such neat contrasting colors, so you can mix and match with different pairs of hose.
