    Inexpensive Wool Kilt

Well, I was originally going to make my own every-day kilt with some good price tartan I found, but in reality I don't have time for that. So I'm looking for a inexpensive wool kilt, of the machine sewn, pakistan made, off-the-shelf variant. (Or something along those lines...) I would plan on using it for casual wear around town, and for some nice easy hiking. So far I have stumbled upon the SWK 'Heavyweight' kilts for a the price I am looking at ($150-ish) and these seem to be the place to go. Has anyone got any comments/opinions about SWK or other suggestions?
    Thanks.

Have you considered a PV semi-traditional from USA Kilts? I think you would be happier with it than an inexpensive wool kilt.
    Just my opinion.

I have, but I would prefer wool.

My other option I keep coming back to is to get an ex-MOD kilt.

In times past I have scored a couple of my clan tartan casual wool kilts from Burnett & Struth on sale for US $150 or less.

I have a couple of SWK wool kilts in the closet. I would say they are a decent inexpensive kilt. I still occasionally wear the saffron. You'd be getting what you pay for - not always the case with inexpensive kilts!

My friends are wearing hand sewn kilts and I am wearing my Stillwater Heavyweight

They are nice kilts and for the price they can't be beat
