    Sizing a Balmoral

I need to make the inside diameter of both of my Robert Mackie Balmoral’s.

Since I have lost over 50 lbs they had a tendency for the left side to slide down. The way it is made there is no place to slide maybe a strip of leather inside the band, I don’t need a lot but I would like a little something as I forget to adjust it all the time.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

I'm assuming you have no more adjustment left via the ties in the back? If I had to adjust the sizing down further than it was made for, I'd probably do it by trimming and re-stitching the rear instead of trying to add bulk around the band.
