    My latest purchases....

I was looking over many web sights to check out what was new, and I looked on Mike McCrae's sight Scotia
Metalworks. I think Mike is one of the most talented and nice people in the business, and I was very impressed with several new Dirks and Sgian Dubhs that appeared on his pages. So I purchase the two below, and very excited about getting them soon. Got both in ebony, and think they will go quite well with my Jacobite impression. Mike and I have been talking about him doing a basket claymore for me, just a matter of time, and on my behalf the research of what would be correct for what I am portraying with MacDonald Clanranald.

So here is what I purchased:

    Sgian Dubh

    Dirk

Mike has many more, but these two really appealed to me....does such great work for a very reasonable price.

I agree with you about Mike's craftsmanship, reasonable prices and attention to historical detail. I have two dirks from him, plus a USMC sgian dhu with a pattern-welded blade. Mike is a good friend and a fellow U.S. Marine. I'd recommend his work to anybody.
