    Hand-knitted Kilt Hose

Definitely cannot take credit for the fantastic craftsmanship - however my darling wife can. As I've been slogging away making my 8 yard traditional PEI tartan kilt, she managed to produce this wonderful pair of kilt hose for me:

Devon, where did you get your material for a PEI tartan kilt? I am a native islander and would love to make an PEI tartan kilt, but coming across the tartan is a struggle. I've been considering P/V as I seem to have a source for that.

I had a similar problem so went with PV - bought it at fabric shop here in Halifax that carries all of the provincial tartans. A bit light weight but turned out remarkably well though. I've since found a few places that supply provincial tartans in wool. I'm on my mobile right now but can send you the links later.
