8 yd Prince Edward Island tartan Kilt - Done!

Well, I must say this has been a labour of love for the past three months. Perhaps more labour than love at times, but I finally completed a hand sewn traditional 8 yd kilt in PEI provincial tartan. Pleated to the stripe. Would not have been able to do it without the encouragement at Ms Tewksbury, her fantastic book, and by sifting through a great many threads on this site. Well done to the Rabble for such a collection of information and knowledge. I documented the entire process, but I'm still sorting out the pictures. And so more to follow. In the meantime I'll post a few completed pictures here in celebration

Well done! Look forward to seeing more pictures. Some pics of it being worn would give a clearer impression of how it looks.

Thanks for all the kind words. This weekend I will have the wife take some pictures of me in it. I took hundreds of pictures of the process as well which I am sorting through between work and other projects.
