    Maxwell tartan

I recently helped a friend set up a custom order of Maxwell Hunting tartan from D.C. Dalgleish. He liked the repro colours that Dalgleish does, but he wanted the brown swapped out for more of a green. Anyway, the fabric arrived today and looks fabulous!

That's a handsome colour scheme! I like it. That's Maxwell Hunting, though, right?

Yes... Maxwell Hunting! I will edit my original post as I seem to have forgotten to type that part.

You may have misspoken, but there's no brown in Maxwell hunting. The hunting version is a reversal of the red and green. That said, I love the muted palette. I think I know who this belongs to... Very nice!

Not mispoken. It IS green in the tartan but when in Dalgleish's repro colours, the thread used is "Brown 40" we had this swapped out with "Green 140" to give it a more muted and proper green look.

Yes... I do believe you know the owner of this nice bolt of 13m or double wide.

Nice shades which are not unlike Wilsons' although they would have used a brighter red.
