    Help with Tartan Identification, please?

    While searching for kit to wear to a friend's upcoming wedding, I came across the following tartan. The owner does not know what tartan it is. I've tried the House of Tartan finder online, with no success. Does anyone here know?

    I would ask the owner who made the kilt and then ask the maker.
    The hielan' man he wears the kilt, even when it's snowin';
    He kens na where the wind comes frae, But he kens fine where its goin'.

    This is yet another variation on the Royal Stewart with light blue replacing the red and change some of the other colours too. It's likely to be a simple fashion tartan but it may have been named nonetheless.

    I did ask the seller who made the kilt, but they do not know. They also say there is no tag, so that was a dead end, as well. I had thought it was similar to Royal Stewart, but couldn't find a variation with these colors. Thank you for your help, gentlemen!

    Agreed with fashion tartan. Wife bought a skirt around 1999 at Macy's with the same design. We again saw the same plaid at Nostrums several years later.

    Usually an inside tag will identify a tartan, normally Royal Steward or Black Watch, seem to be the most common. This one had no identification, so most likely this is just a fashion weave.....Funny to see my wife's skirt made into a kilt.....
