    Kilted wreath layer

Yesterday at The Daily Caller site was a piece about the Chrismas wreath laying at Arlington Cemetery. An acquaintance of mine, Colonel Roger Donlon, Medal Of Honor recipient, was mentioned in it and mutual friend tipped me to the story. Interestingly a man who got as big a mention was a kilted guy wearing a biker jacket. On my screen the photo of him is fairly small and I can not get it to enlarge. Can anyone I'D the tartan? You can find it at thedc.com.

I did a screen save of the photo. I can't identify the tartan.

Thanks for the tip of a veteran honoring our fallen.

That would be Leatherneck tartan, an unofficial US Marine Corps tartan. Note that the gentleman has an Eagle, Globe and Anchor on his jacket.

Also note that both of these gallant gentlemen's jackets indicate that they have served their time in that purgatory which was Beirut.
