    Hunter sporran and Dirk belt

    Father Bill,

This is the Duncan Hunter Sporran and Dirk belt I got through North of Hadrian's Celtic clothing shop in Victoria and it was supplied from L&M out of Nova Scotia, I believe.
The leather front and back are quite stiff but the soft leather gussets allow it to be opened quite nicely to fit my hand inside

The black sporran is my first sporran and I got it at a discount because it had a tassel missing in the centre. I found the grouse foot broach in an antique shop when we were holidaying in Devon and Cornwall so I put it in place of the missing tassel.

As you can see the "pebbled" leather is the same in both Sporran's and is referred to as "pigs skin" I believe. This black sporran is more bag like, so quite easy to get my hand in it....... and will likely hold more ...... I hope this note with photos, helps with my earlier explanations

    Cheers
