    At Long, lo-o-o-o-ong, long...did I say "long"..last v.2.0

As Allan H may recall, he started a thread, a couple years back, about "finally " starting to make a kilt, out the custom weave from 2009. Well Alan - I have finally started to do the same thing, after 9 years.

Just finished pressing the pleats ( as per the Wizards posts, also from a couple, or more, years ago) on the first half of the 13oz. F&K MacNaughton Ancient tartan. Maybe I'll even have it done before the August anniversary,m of when I picked it up, from Gordon Kirkbright, years ago.

I like the tartan quite a bit. It reminds me of the Sinclair Red sett.

    Progressing, at "a measured pace"

Tailor stitching the hair canvas. This is the first time I am trying the stabilizer that goes from under apron edge to over apron edge.
