I was in Germany (US Army's guest employee) when Star Wars debuted in theaters. Missed the whole " to-do" then and make up for it now. Thanks Liam

I was a huge fan of Star Wars and still am. Luckily I had the day off today and have been watching the original movies, I'm not much for the prequels, here was my outfit for a windy day in Toronto

Star Wars came out, just after I got out of High School. Several years later, I met George Lucas. Yes, he was an Amateur SCCA Road Racer.

As we were THE shop in the ares for race spares, he came to us to be kitted out. The prep shop that took care of his car, were longtime customers. While measuring him for his driving suit, I said that I never got the 'whole Star Wars thing". He smiled, & said, "Really". Pleasant conversation after that. Sadly, people wouldn't leave him alone on race weekends (same with PLN, have stories about him, also). Now, daughter #2 & her husband have been absorbed by the Force. #3, is getting there.

This would be a good addition to your "Ten Looks......" series

I did make several Star Wars puns yesterday to honor May 4th; I also went out kilted (only to walk the dogs) but didn’t take any photos. Yesterday was also Tuba Day so I honored this by practicing on my horn for a half-hour. It was a good day!

No the 10 looks were 1 kilt 10 looks, and this is a different kilt. I think they stand on their own and have done so for close to a decade now. Besides, that thread is now locked.

I also missed the star wars release, I was doing 12 hours on 12 hours off continously in the RAF, we were being firemen during the fireman's strike. They were on strike for £100 a week, my take home was £96 a month...
Not that it bothers me having seen a couple of them I'm not impressed with them too cartoon like, almost childish...
