No retreat. No secret. The Wildcat Tartan has been from it's inception a fund raising effort. Rule #10.

It's a gorgeous tartan, and even more beautiful in person. As with so many tartans photos don't do it justice.
My hesitation with getting a kilt in it is simply the fact that I already have four kilts, which goes against my tendency to not want more things that I can use.

How much would enough material to make a 5 yard kilt cost? I came up with $419.00 just for the material alone, can that be right?

Questions like this should be kept off the forum, we took the project elsewhere to adhere to the rules of the forum and don't want to go against them now. Please join the facebook group or use the other link provided above for all the details.

I have joined the Facebook group and put my name in for 4 meters of fabric. Thanks for the advice.

It's a very lovely tartan. We have a sample in our Clan Mackintosh tent at Western US highland games.

Its such a beautiful tartan I made two kilts from it - a knife pleat to the black block and a box pleat to the same.

I'd love to see photos of the kilts.

I've posted this previously, but my wife was gifted with this infinity scarf by a kilt maker with a bit of left-over. She loves it.
