I'm sure you get plenty of comments on it!

My first exposure to Isle Of Skye was at a booth at a local Games, a scarf or lady's kilt or something. The tartan's unique beauty jumped out to my eye, and I had to know what it was!

A year later I was seeing it everywhere.

    Fourth Weaving now happening

I noticed that the 4th weaving of the wildcats tartan appears to be underway - so those who are interested now need to act as I imagine it will be several years before it is woven again.

Act now yes, hopefully it will not be several years before the 5th weaving.

Wildcat Tartan - The waiting is over or just starting...

Just seen that the ordering page for the next run of the wildcat tartan has gone live.

    http://www.paulhenrykilts.com/Wildcat-order/

By the time enough orders are in and the four months of waiting for the weaving it could be nearly christmas, so let’s hope the ordering happens quickly.
    Best wishes - Harvey.

Thanks for pointing out the weaving! My wife and I gave each other Scottish Wildcat gift packs for Christmas and we were hoping for the Tartan to become available again. We've ordered 4 meters, looking forward to build my next kilt from it (with instructions from The Art of Kiltmaking)!

That is wonderful news. I can't wait to see the kilt you sew up in the tartan.

Me neither. But I will do my very best. Looking forward to it as a winter project so the kilt can be ready if we decide to visit Ardnamurchan next summer.

I ordered enough for a six yard kilt for my husband for the second run, and embarrassingly enough I am just now getting around to sewing it. It will be done to the sett, and his first kilt. He chose Wildcat because at the time he didn't know of any clan affiliations. I love the browns in it and was excited to have a new variety to look at.

    Yeah

The 4th weaving is still open, and I am ordering tomorrow. I am torn between 3 metres or 4, wich is basically 6 or 8 yards. I just wonder how much of a difference in "swish" that would be. It is a pretty big difference in price.
