hello I'm new here. my profile name is lord blackberet although i am not a lord lol. i own 2 kilts one is modern small kilt the other is a great kilt as that was only style i could get Macdonald of the isles hunting tartan when i purchased 24years ago. now i find they actually do make that in modern kilt now . i wear my kilt everyday however my small kilt cannot take the beating of sitting 10 hours a day and the stitching came out so now i stick with wearing my great kilt.

Well met and welcome new friend. You can assist those of us new to kilts (me included) with the long term expectations of wearing a kilt (as you mention about the wear of a kilt over daily long use). I look forward to reading more and am glad you joined the group.
