    Officiating photos

I recently had mentioned that I would be officiating at a wedding. The bride requested that I wear my Ancient Buchanan tartan (bespoke Bonnie Heather Green kilt) which I thought was a good choice for a summer evening in the garden. The temperature was a searing 95F (35C) but fortunately we were in the shade. I selected a green tweedy hose and then finished the outfit with a soft green tie which turned out to be a great choice in complementing the bride's maids. The sporran is a Wyvern custom stingray.

    That’s an exceptionally handsome combination.

I’ve never noticed that much green in the Modern Buchanan tartans I’ve seen before — we have an old friend who was married in his kilt — so the green hose with your kilt are an inspired choice.
