    USMC Dress Blue Tartan Kilt Hand Sewn by Kathy Lare

    This is a beautiful tartan.

    16 ounce Jura wool from Marton Mills. Tartan designed by Steve Ashton.

    Kathy's kilt #3692 sewn on 11/13/2012

    Pleated to the red stripe in military pleats. 25 pleats.

    Includes sword and EGA crest kilt pin.

    W44" 21" length. Kilt straps allow 3 inches larger or smaller waist.

    Always worn with underwear. Kept in mothproof garment bag in closet.

    Love the look of the kilt, Not former military in any way however, so I feel like if I were to buy it that I would be kinda like an imposter so..

    South African military veteran. Great grandson of Captain William Henry Stevenson of the Highland Light Infantry, Scotland (1880's) and brother to Infantryman Peter Mark Schumann of the 2nd Transvaal Scottish, South Africa (1980's).
