My wife just finished this work of art - her second (and last) kilt. She has made me a Smith Modern (13oz) and now this one, the weathered (16oz). Having watched the process I can say I appreciate the effort (focus, skill and love) that goes into the handmade kilt. This one had to be hand (traditionally) hand-stitched because of the fabric weight. An immense thanks and love to you, Jeanette. It was made for out 40th wedding anniversary, which will be at Dornoch Cathedral (home of one of my ancestors) in 2020. In between, we have a few activities here in Perth, Australia, where it can be worn-in.
