    Using the top picture. The left tartan looks like Cameron of Erracht and the right one is The Scottish Wildcat tartan and is worn by its designer.

    That is an interesting carpet that you are standing on.
    I saw a blazer at a thrift shop last week that was identical to that (panels of different sized houndstooth)!

    Well that is a kind thought thank you. I am a huge fan of houndstooth patterns of the same size, but to my eye the patterns of different sizes in one jacket would be distinctly unsubtle.

    It certainly wold be a fashion statement made, in many respects, in a curious direction. I don't see you pulling off defending the choice as a garment.
