    Sporran hangers

I’m going to try sporran hangers rather than my normal leather strap but I’m curious. I see pictures of men wearing both at the same time. Is that normal? Is there an advantage?

I wear sporran hangers all the time. I can’t imagine trying to wear a strap at the same time. Do you have a picture for reference?

I've never worn both at the same time and, honestly, I imagine that looks a little silly.... I have hangers, chains, and straps so that I can have a choice depending on how I feel or how relaxed/formal I am going for.

Don't think you will need the straps/chains, the purpose of the hangers is to take the place of straps. No need for a disaster recovery backup.
