    Question Question for kilted woodsmen.

I had a question for fellow kilted hikers/hunters, what have you found is the most efficient way to remove burdocks and the like from your kilt? Just pick them out? Use a suit brush?

Here is a photo of the worst seed pests to outdoors attire.

I use duct tape to remove items F and C and a flat stick for J. All the others, I use a pet grooming brush (gently).

This kilted Woodsman hikes in Mountain Hardwear Elkommando Kilts and these burrs don't stick to me. Normally on other fabrics I would just remove them individually by hand.

BEDickey1337, out of curiosity, what material is your kilt made of?

    Thanks!

Thanks for the info @Tarheel and @Woodsman, I was thinking something similar, by hand or using a suit brush or similar.

@huntgathergrow, My kilts are wool. I prefer to wear all wool for the warmth/comfort factor, but would not be adverse to a different fabric if it was better suited to the task. Perhaps wool when you need the warmth and something else otherwise?
