    Hi all

Here's my latest kilt; its a heavier weight than the last one (IPA).
Unfortunately I don't know what tartan this is...can anyone help me here please?
Apologies if the thumbnails stay sideways on.
    Thanks,
    Terry

Most excellent choice of pleat for your kilt. The larger sett of the apron transitions perfectly to the back.

    Looks great, Terry.
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!

Now I know that this is nit picking - that is a good kilt - but - it would look even better if there was a bit more flare to the bottom of the fell - there is a line where it is pulled in. If you were to add another inch or so to the width then it would lie more easily. It would also mean less strain on the fabric and it would last longer.

    Kilt dimensions

    Hi Anne,
Thanks for your comment about the pleat hip width- its not nit picking, sounds like I have made a fundamental mistake. I am not sure I have the will to correct it- wouldn't it entail taking the kilt apart and starting more or less afresh?
