Greetings
New to the board, and to kilts. My sole contribution to this particular culture is this invention, to compliment sgian dubhs and sgian brews:

I first thought that advertised a "selfie stick" (hooks to cell phone and extends for photos). Then I read the article and chuckled anyway.
Note: Selfie sticks are banned in many areas because of today's climate of violence. Humor should over come hate everyday.
Well met Paul and glad to make your acquaintance. Welcome to the group.

Thanks! A deer dropped an antler under our apple tree, and I cut it in half to make a kilt pin and then use the other half as a handle. Thought of non-blade uses like as a handle for a mini flashlight or a laser pointer or a backscratcher or a mini Swiss Army knife, but the spike was awful small. I don't need a sgian brew. So I drilled it and put a small telescoping utility mirror on it, and now it's a sgian view. Maybe I’ll make all of those someday to go with my sgian dubh, and make a calf-sized bandolier to carry them all. Could be the next wave of Highland fashion!

Lol... LOL! And I wondered why it took me so long to join this site! I've spent many nights reading the musings, advice and ramblings of you all! Enjoying every moment and learning many things of many a subject matter! And always seem to get a smile and break a chuckle aloud in a room by my self!
Thanks to you all!
