    But if you want to go with black or grey, I think the red pinked leather would look swell.

    I like the look of both leathers , however , given the cantle is somewhat open faced ( which is gorgeous by the way ) my eye keeps going to the black leather .

    Sporran completed!

    I received the finished sporran in the mail today from Wyvern Leatherworks, and am very pleased with the results.

    Donnie Hailey was a pleasure to deal with, and despite a couple of challenges along the way (unreliable hide vendor, etc.), he was able to turn it out in a timely manner.

    Apologies for the poor lighting. I’ll try post better photos later, but here it is:

    Is the fur dry (lack of lanolin)? Maybe just a trick of the lighting. I like the color, shape and fitting with the cantle. I'm proud for you my friend.
